1] SPLASH AND SPRINT 2022
VENUE: INDIRA GLOBAL BUSINESS SCHOOL, B-WING, AVIRAT CAMPUS, PARANDWADI,PUNE
DATES: 1 st to 3 rdOF JUNE 2022
On the 1st of June 2022, all roads led to Indira Global Business School, Avirat Campus. The excitement among the students was palpable. Why do you ask? Because it was time for ‘SPLASH AND SPRINT 2022!’ The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Sachin Surve, a renowned singer who has performed more than 5000 stage shows.
First & Second day was allocated for SPRINT 2022-all Sports Events. Third day was reserved for SPLASH 2022-Cultural and Management Events, which promised three days of fun and laughter.
SPLASH 2022 was conducted on 3 rd of June 2022. It included events like Treasure Hunt, Business Quiz and Photography. The Cultural events included performances like Solo Dance, Group Dance, Mono-act, Fashion Show, Acoustics, etc. The Certificates for winners of various competitions were distributed amongst the students. “SPLASH has always enthralled the students of IGBS. It is such a wonderful launch pad for the students to get ready for the upcoming inter-collegiate competitions.” quoted, Ms. Aryaa Abhyankar & Ms. Kaushiki Bugde, first-year MBA students of IGBS.
SPRINT 2022 was conducted on the 1 st & 2 nd of June 2022. It was a two-day event. The day started with an energetic Cricket Match. The enthusiasm prevailed for a couple of days as events like Table Tennis, Carom, Chess and football followed. The event was concluded with Volleyball and Tug-Off war.
Fun time with a staff tug-of-war added to the enjoyment. Mr. Shrinivas Hanchate & Mr. Rahul Shewale, students in first-year MBA, quoted, “It was a memorable day for me. Such Sports activities help improve both physical and mental strength. Our body remains fit and healthy.”
The Coordinators thanked everyone who contributed their services either directly or indirectly to the grand success of the mega event.

The Department of Management Sciences (affectionately called PUMBA) is an integral pillar of Savitribai Phule Pune University. Every year, PUMBA cherishes the knowledge, skills and talents with numerous business schools across India through its annual cultural fest – Dhruv! This is a national event which helps us connect with many prestigious B-schools. Carrying this legacy forward, this year, Dhruv was conducted on 22nd, 23rd, 24th of January, 2020.

DATES: 10TH AND 11TH OF JANUARY 2020
On the 10th of January 2020, all roads led to Indira Global Business School, Avirat Campus. The excitement among the students was palpable. Why do you ask? Because it was time for ‘SPLASH AND SPRINT 2020!’ But this year was a little different. We had the Inauguration ceremony held at the hands of renowned Theater Artist and Movie Actor, and Director of Indira School of Communication, MrGirishPardeshi. Day One was reserved for SPLASH 2020-Cultural and Management Events and Day 2 was allocated for SPRINT 2020-all Sports Events. Which promised two days of fun and laughter. MrGirishPardeshi addressed the students with great zeal and enthusiasm. He emphasized the importance of Art in Management. He quoted various examples in the field of management where art plays an important role. The MBA students sought guidance from him regarding various management profiles available in the field of art and cinema.
SPLASH 2020 included events like Treasure Hunt, Mad Ads, IPL Auction, Case Study presentation, Group Discussions.
