1.IGBS have done collaboration with Nisargmitra Vibhag as part of social initiative “Spreading Smiles”. Under which IGBS have adopted some plants from Ghoravdeshwar Hill. Student and staff will regularly visit the place in order to take care of these plants. Dr. Virendra Tatake- Director IGBS, Prof. Santosh Dagade– Librarian IGBS, visited Ghoravdeshwar Hill on 21 April 2022 to begin with this initiative.

2.IGBS faculty and staff has donated 10kg Sugar and 10 kg Jaggery to the Maharshi Karve Stree Shikshan Sanstha’s Mahila Aashram. They also had small interaction about various initiatives of sanstha. The 125-year-old parent body has been committed to “Empowerment of Women Through Education”. The Institution has a century long history of dedicated work towards making women educated and self-reliant. MKSSS, Pune was established in 1896 by the great visionary and social worker Bharat Ratna Maharshi Dhondo Keshav Karve to provide shelter to destitute women.

3.IGBS staff and faculty have distributed some sweets to Sankalp Adivasi Pardhi Samaj Vikas Sanstha. Rashin the village in Karjat taluka of Ahmednagar district has a large number of nomadic tribal Pardhi community and the organization has taken up the task through Sankalp Social Project so that the children of this community should not be deprived of education due to financial difficulties. This was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to contribute towards the wellbeing of society
